Our Deepest Fear

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

What does this quote mean for you? For me, it means that I am here for a purpose. I am meant to shine my light and be my authentic self—flaws and all. When I do this, I give others permission to do the same. This quote also reminds me that my light is not just for myself; it's for the world. By living my truth and sharing my gifts with the world, I am contributing to the collective good and making the world a better place.

How can you live your truth and let your light shine? One way is by getting clear on what your values are and aligning your actions with those values. When you do this, you will naturally start to attract people and circumstances into your life that reflect your values back to you. You will also find yourself saying "no" more often to things that don't align with your values—and that's a good thing! Living in alignment with your values will help you stay true to yourself and let your light shine brightly in the world.

Remember, you are here for a reason. You have something unique and special to contribute to the world. So don't be afraid to let your light shine! When you do, you will inspire others to do the same—and together, we can make the world a brighter place.
